Dear Happy Valley Families,

Governor Ducey and Superintendent of Schools, Kathy Hoffman, held a Press Conference yesterday to provide additional guidance, resources and clarity to help Schools plan for the 2020-2021 school year.

In his new executive order, 2020-51, he outlined additional resources and specific requirements for our Schools. Our School is in the process of reviewing these guidelines and developing plans to meet state requirements.

Happy Valley East will start school on August 17th. We remain optimistic our school will open for on-campus instruction on August 17; however, we will reevaluate our opening of school and adjust this date, as required, when the health benchmarks are release on August 7 from our country health officials. For families wishing to participate in online learning after we meet the requirements for in-person, we will continue to offer a distance learning plan for the entire 2020-2021 school year if needed.

While we seek to provide a quality, educational experience for our students, the safety of our students and employees are of utmost importance. We will continue to work diligently to accomplish these goals.

As always, we value your partnership and appreciate your commitment, flexibility, and support, as we navigate through these uncertain times.

With Appreciation,
Jared Palmer, Principal
