Happy Valley East School has their own Giving Tree! This year we are supporting families within HVE. Simply go into the front office from 7:30am to 4pm M-F and pick your tag from the Giving Tree. Another option, the Giving Tree will be up and ready for picking at our upcoming Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 9th.
Please place your UNWRAPPED donated items in a large plastic bag with the tag number clearly written on the bag and the tree tag securely attached.
RETURN DEADLINE: Wednesday, December 17th at 4pm.
*** There will also be a sealed box for Gift Card Donations in the front office***
If you have any wrapping paper, bows or tape you would also like to donate so that the PTO can wrap the donated gifts, it would be very much appreciated.
Looking to give more this year??? You still can with a Donation to HVE with the Arizona Tax Credit program. This is a State Credit (not a deduction) on your AZ State Tax Returns for 2014. This tax credit is a way to support extracurricular activities at a public or charter school. The extracurricular activity HVE has chosen is field trips. Married couples filing jointly can donate up to $400 and $200 for single persons filing. If you can only give a little or the max, all donations are appreciated, and you will get it all back in your AZ Tax Returns! SOMETHING NEW! Check out what is happening at HVE on our new Sandwich Board. It will be pulled outside regularly, so while we are dropping off our students, we can see upcoming school events. Events and other happenings can also be found on Facebook. Search “Happy Valley East Families” as it is a great resource for the families of HVE students.
